Sam Goes Walkies: Trip Diary Monday, March 13, 2006: The Adventure Begins!Well after getting poor Sam up at 4am, we got him to Heathrow safe and sound in plenty of time for the off. The website has a picture of our intrepid explorer doing his best not to look like he's had no sleep and he's looking forward to his walk! As we post this message Sam is on his way to Delhi, due to arrive 19:00 GMT Monday (00:00 local time).

Or maybe one of the other London crew who was brave enough to wake him up at 4am! Heathrow is the utter pits. Must be even worse that time of the morning... Still not sure how he intends to blog whilst on a mountain. Presumably there won't be that many masts up there ;)
Theoretically though there's nothing to get in the way of any signals and you'd be closer to the satellites!
